Jamila Porter is the Communications and Professional Development Coordinator for STIPDA, a national non-profit organization that works to strengthen state and local injury and violence prevention programs.
Jamila brings an expertise in health communication and program coordination from working within the non-profit, government, and corporate sectors. She is an honor graduate of Wake Forest University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication and Health Policy & Administration, and Mercer University School of Medicine, where she earned her Master's degree in Public Health (MPH). She loves to travel, having visited various countries in Africa and Asia. She is passionate about global health issues, and hopes to one day realize her dream of working within the field of international health.
