Stacy Oliver has volunteered with the Young Professional group of SCIS for the past eighteen months in various capacities while working with a small family business that manufactures supplies for major legal and accounting firms both nationally and across Europe. She earned a double B.A. from George State University in English Literature and French and an M.A. in Literature & Gender Studies from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Stacy has lived, worked, and traveled extensively throughout Western Europe as well as Quebec and parts of Latin America. Before returning to Atlanta, she worked as a Professor of Literature & Composition at Benedictine University & Oakton Community College, just outside of Chicago, teaching a wide range of subjects including argumentative writing, history, philosophy and literature, politics, and modern global issues. She is an avid runner and rower.
