Mr. Alex Stuebler joined Siemens AG in 1991 as Project Manager, IT. Over the following 15 years he had numerous corporate and business responsibilities in Germany and the US - all within the world leading Automation Business of Siemens.

Mr. Stuebler gained significant insight in the Siemens Automation Business as member of the Strategic Planning Department in Germany until the end of 1997. At that time he was in a corporate consulting function to the executive leadership of Siemens Automation. In his capacity he was advising the businesses during the strategic and business planning, and mergers and acquisition process.

In 1998 Mr. Stuebler joined Siemens Energy & Automation in Atlanta, GA. He was responsible to lead the strategy development process of the industrial business of Siemens in the US. In his function as Manager and Director for Strategic Planning, he led the acquisition of 3 automation companies by Siemens in 1999 and 2000.

In 2002, Mr. Stuebler was promoted Director Corporate Marketing. Under his leadership, the business management for selected industries has been setup. He personally led the Automation Business to the Cement and Oil & Gas Market.

From 2004 - 2008, Mr. Stuebler has led the Discrete Sensors Business of Siemens in the US. The business combines all Sensor technologies (Proximity, Safety, Machine Vision, RFID). He was responsible for the full P&L of the business. Under his direct responsibility, he directed the Marketing to the US market.

In his current position as Director Strategic Marketing, Mr. Stuebler is responsible for directing and consulting Marketing efforts of the Siemens Energy & Automation Divisions. He is leading a group of Marketing Directors to facilitate cross-divisional marketing efforts. He is also involved in the Strategic Planning process of the corporation, as well as mergers & acquisition acitivities.
