Selina has twenty years of international experience in risk management, primary and reinsurance underwriting and brokerage in the U.S., England, Hong Kong and Argentina.

Selina began her insurance career in Southern California with Continental International Insurance as a global property and casualty underwriter. In 1992, she was assigned to the Hong Kong office of Lombard General Insurance Limited where she was responsible for the marketing and underwriting of regional multinational programs in Asia. Selina joined the London office of Jardine Insurance Brokers in 1994 specializing in the property, aviation, marine, fine arts and jewelry and energy lines of business. She transferred to its office in Buenos Aires, Argentina and worked as a reinsurance broker. In 1995, she was asked to establish Chubb Argentina, S.A., the Argentine company of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies of North America and was responsible for the development and management of the underwriting department. She spent three years as the first risk manager for Alpargatas, the largest company in Argentina in the shoe and textile sector. Her responsibilities included restructuring the company.s insurance program, negotiating joint venture agreements with Nike and Converse and overseeing the company.s operations/investments in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Selina joined the Insurance Risk Management Solutions (IRMS) Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Atlanta in January 2001 and specialized in providing consulting services to major corporations on domestic and global insurance programs, risk financing, mergers and acquisitions and due diligence issues, broker and insurance company selections. Selina has also provided expert witness testimony.

Selina joined ACE Global Property in February 2007 and is responsible for marketing and underwriting global property accounts in the Southeast.

Selina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Whittier College, California. She studied International Banking and Finance in the graduate school of The London School of Economics.

Selina is an experienced public speaker and has presented papers in English and Spanish on Latin American insurance at conferences in Southern California and Buenos Aires. Her articles have appeared in various trade journals and magazines including PwC.s Global Real Estate Now, Winter 2002, .The State of the Insurance Market: Managing the Uncertainties.. Her article entitled .Directors and Officers Liability: Loss Control and Prevention Strategies. appeared in the March 2003 edition of The John Liner Review.

Selina is the co-founder and owner of a wine import and distribution company, Compass Wine Group, Inc., specializing in Argentine, Chilean, French and Italian wine.
